Cullowhee, NC- Franklin Panther standout Running back and Linebacker, Ty Handley, has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Western Carolina University in the Fall.
In 10 games this season, Handley amassed nearly 1,000 rushing yards and 13 total touchdowns out of the backfield. Handley also tacked on over 40 tackles on the defensive side of the football.
At the collegiate level, Handley will make the move to the tight end position for the Catamounts, which should be a seamless transition as he displayed some of the best hands in the Mountain 7 last season out of the backfield.
