PRESS RELEASE- The Macon County Sheriff’s Office had a fantastic time participating in the Career Conference hosted by the Boys & Girls Club at the Sapphire Valley Country Club!

Our dedicated deputies showcased some of their essential equipment and gear, giving students a firsthand look at what it takes to serve and protect our community.

It was wonderful to see so many curious minds asking questions and learning about the vital role law enforcement plays in keeping our community safe. We believe in investing in our future, and we want to inspire the next generation of leaders—it’s never too early to begin the recruitment process!

A special highlight of the day was meeting one of our amazing K-9 dogs! 🐾 The students loved interacting with our furry partner and learning about their extraordinary skills.
